These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the NyaySetu website and platform operated by NyaySetu ODR Private Limited. By using our services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Nature of our services
NyaySetu is an online dispute resolution (ODR) platform that facilitates arbitration, mediation and negotiation through empanelled, independent neutrals. NyaySetu is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice or representation, and using the platform does not create a lawyer–client relationship.
2. Eligibility & account
You must be capable of entering into a legally binding contract to use our services. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your account credentials confidential.
3. Use of the platform
- Use the platform only for lawful dispute-resolution purposes.
- Do not upload unlawful, infringing or misleading content.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the platform.
- Respect the confidentiality of proceedings and other parties.
4. Neutrals & outcomes
Neutrals act independently and impartially. Arbitral awards and settlement agreements reached through NyaySetu are intended to be binding and enforceable in accordance with applicable law. NyaySetu administers the process but does not decide the outcome of any matter.
5. Fees
Applicable fees are published and payable as set out during case registration. Fees are generally non-refundable once a matter has commenced, except as expressly stated.
6. Intellectual property
All content, branding, software and design on the platform are owned by NyaySetu or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission.
7. Limitation of liability
The platform is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, NyaySetu is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the platform or the outcome of any proceeding.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka shall have jurisdiction, subject to any agreed dispute-resolution mechanism.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
